Passing on some words of wisdom Jesus shared with me concerning worry…
“Daily circumstances are like dirt which can easily be wiped away, like quickly sweeping dirt off a table with your hand. But when you begin to worry and perseverate over the circumstances, that dirt turns to mud, just like dirt when mixed with water. Mud is HEAVY.
When circumstances become cares through agreement with anxious thoughts, your load (your backpack) becomes heavy and your journey becomes burdensome.
Do not come into agreement with the emotions that try and attach themselves to you during daily crisis. How you choose to perceive a circumstance will determine how heavy the load.
Refuse these worrisome thoughts right out of the gate! Any thoughts that have already been received and taken root in your heart, break agreement with them, cover them with My blood and loose and release them from your soul!
By faith trust me to pluck those emerging trees out by the roots, and praise Me that the harvest of those thoughts have been preempted. Even heavy mud will dissolve and melt away by My living waters. Allow Me to wash your heart clean of any anxious or painful paths you are walking on.”
“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to Me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn My ways and you’ll discover that I am gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in Me.” Matthew 11:28
Here is a prayer you can pray to break agreement with burdens:
“Father, by the act of My will, I repent for entertaining anxious thoughts and emotions. I break agreement and plead your blood Jesus to smother these thoughts and render them useless against me. I command them to be loosed from my soul! In the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!
