The trials of life can weigh us down and tempt us to give up on the promises of God. As we meditate by speaking these verses and responses out loud, our minds will be encouraged to keep our faith growing and working to bring forth the will of God in our lives! There is an instrumental worship selection below to use with your meditation. You can also print out this mediation using the link at the bottom of this page.
Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.”
I refuse to grow weary in well doing for in due season, at the appointed time, I WILL reap if I do not quit.
2 Corinthians 4:18 – “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now, rather we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
I don’t go by what I see or feel, for what is seen is subject to change and will change! I am keeping my eyes on Your Word which is unseen and lasts forever.
2 Corinthians 4:16 – “Therefore, we do not become discouraged (spiritless, disappointed, or afraid). Though our outerself is progressively decaying, our inner self is being progressively renewed day by day.”
I do not lose heart. Though my outer man is facing difficulty, my inner man is being is getting stronger each and every day. This is bringing forth transformation in my mind and in my body.
Josuah 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Father, I obey your commandment to be strong and courageous. I do not allow my heart to be afraid or agitated. I refuse to be denied. I continue to keep running to my promises.
Philippians 1:6 – “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.”
Thank You, Father. You have begun a good work in me, and You are faithful to finish what You have started. Jesus, You are the author of my faith and You promise to perfect it. Holy Spirit, You are guiding me into all truth, and that truth is setting me free from every way the enemy is holding me captive. You are ALL working in me to will and to do Your good pleasure.
1 Peter 5:10 – “And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in His eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever.”
You are turning this trial for my good by restoring me and making me stronger than before. What I am facing now cannot be compared to Your glory that will be revealed in me!
Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
As I continue to wait in hope, You are renewing my strength. I am soaring on wings like an eagle, rising higher and higher to the sun. My path is growing brighter and brighter unto the perfect day and the appointed time of my manifested victory!
James 1:4 – “And let patience have her perfect work; that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
I am letting perseverance have her perfect work so that I may be complete, with nothing missing and nothing broken. I will always pray and never give up!
Jeremiah 1:12 – “Then the LORD said to me, ‘you have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that My Word is fulfilled.”
You are watching over Your Word to perform it in my life. You are not a man that lies or changes his mind. If You said it Father, You will make it good!
Isaiah 55:11 – “So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to me void (useless, without result), without accomplishing what pleases Me and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
Your Word is alive and working. No matter what I see or feel, I believe it IS accomplishing Your good thoughts and plans for me.
Hebrews 10:23 – “Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful to His Word.”
So I hold fast to my confession of Your Word without doubting. Father, You made the promise and You are faithful to Your Word. You will perform the good things set aside for me.
🔥 Closing Prayer:
Father God, In the mighty name of Jesus, I come before You today standing on Your unfailing Word. You are not a man that You should lie, nor a son of man that You should change Your mind. What You have spoken, You will bring to pass. I refuse to give up on the promises You have made to me.
Even when I don’t see it, You are working. Even when I don’t feel it, Your Word is alive and active, accomplishing what You sent it to do. I declare war on doubt, unbelief, fear, and weariness. I will not be moved by what I see—I will be moved only by what You have said.
Lord, You promised that those who wait on You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31), so I lean into You right now and receive divine endurance. I reject the temptation to settle, to shrink back, or to compromise. I declare that I am fully persuaded, like Abraham, that what You have promised, You are also able to perform (Romans 4:21).
I crush the voice of delay, disappointment, and despair. I silence every lie that says it’s too late, too far gone, or never going to happen. Your timing is perfect, and You make all things beautiful in Your time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
In Jesus’ mighty, faithful, never-failing name, AMEN!
