God is Bringing Me Through Every Trial!

Just as burning temperatures have been bearing down upon us this summer, many in the Body of Christ are feeling intense heat from relentless spiritual battles as well. The devil loves the “pile on technique,” creating circumstances one right after the other. The Bible tells us we should not be bewildered at the trials which have ensued around us.

In 1 Peter 4:12, it says, “Do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test you [that is, to test the quality of your faith], as though something strange or unusual were happening to you.”

1 Peter 5:9-10 – “Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert at and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion (fiercely hungry), seeking someone to devour. But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack–rooted, established, immovable] knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced around the world. [You do not suffer alone].

The devil’s end goal is to wear out the saints.” (Daniel 7:25) We need to turn this strategy back onto the head of the enemy!

Three or four times this week God has confirmed to me that praise is a key to victory during trials. When we choose to take the focus off of ourselves and place it on Jesus through GIVING Him PRAISE, we will be lifted above the storms of life. Our enemy will be tortured as we refuse to crumble under his pressure, choosing to praise God instead. Let’s make the devil a nervous wreck today!

Below is a meditation from my upcoming book, “Come Away with Me Meditations & Prayers!” Below is a worship instrumental you can use with the meditation. Declare these words out loud with boldness as a praise to Jesus, the One who has conquered this world! You can print out this meditation using the link at the bottom of this page.

God is Bringing Me Through Every Trial!

📖 1. Romans 8:37 — New King James Version
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

I declare that no matter how hard the trial or how fierce the storm, I am more than a conqueror through Jesus who loves me. His love empowers me to rise above every attack!

📖 2. Isaiah 43:2 — New Living Translation
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

Even in the deepest waters and hardest moments, I am not alone—God is with me right now. I will not be overwhelmed; I will not drown. He is carrying me and bringing me through to safety!

📖 3. Psalm 34:19 — English Standard Version
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

Though I may face many hardships, I will not be defeated! God promises to deliver me from every one of them. I hold fast to His faithfulness, knowing He is working behind the scenes for my good.

📖 4. 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 — New International Version
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

Even when I feel surrounded by pressure and confusion, I will not give up. I may be knocked down, but I will not stay down—because God will never abandon me. His power in me is greater than anything coming against me. I am rising again!

📖 5. James 1:12 — Christian Standard Bible
“Blessed is the one who endures trials, because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

As I endure this testing season with faith and patience, I am being blessed—even before I see the full outcome. God is shaping me for eternal reward, and His promises will not fail!

📖 6. 1 Peter 5:10 — Amplified Bible
“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be].

This trial is not the end—it is a setup for greater glory. God is using this time to perfect what concerns me, to establish my footing, to strengthen every weak place, and to settle me in peace. His grace is more than enough for this journey!

📖 7. 2 Timothy 4:18 — New American Standard Bible
“The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”

God is my Rescuer, and I will not be overtaken by evil. He is pulling me through every snare, every attack, and bringing me to safety in His purpose. I am protected, preserved, and positioned for His kingdom’s plan!

📖 8. Psalm 42:5 — Contemporary English Version
“Why am I discouraged? Why am I restless? I trust you! And I will praise you again because you help me.”

Even when I feel weary, I will lift my voice and praise the Lord. My soul finds hope in Him again. Praise is my weapon, and as I worship, my spirit is renewed and help begins to rise. I will not stay down—because my praise is rising up!

🔥Closing Prayer:

Father, I thank You that in the middle of every trial, You are still worthy of praise. Even in my pain, even in the unknown, I lift my voice and declare that You are good and faithful! You are bringing me through, and I will not be moved. I will praise You in the fire. I will praise You in the waiting. I will praise You before the breakthrough, because I trust You to finish what You started.

Thank You that You are fighting for me, strengthening me, delivering me, and perfecting everything concerning me. I declare that I am not going under—I am going through. My heart is set on You, and my mouth is filled with faith. I worship You not just for what You do but for who You are. You are my rock, my refuge, and my victory!

Even now, Lord, I ask You to stir fresh hope within me. Let Your peace replace all panic, and Your joy rise up in the middle of this pressure! I will come out stronger, more secure, and more in love with You than   ever before. Thank You for never letting go of me.

In Jesus’ mighty name, AMEN!!

Don’t stop yet! Continue to give God praise by rejoicing with this “War” song. Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!
