One of my favorite meditations is to focus on the power of God’s living Word. This meditation reminds us that God’s Word can be trusted at all times. God never changes. He is no respecter of persons. Even when our faith falters, He remains full of faith in His Word. Read aloud the verses and the personalized responses slowly and with an attitude of gratefulness. Hebrews 4:12 – “For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
God, Your Word is alive and powerful! It is a sharp double-edged sword that is penetrating my heart and revealing my motives and thoughts. As Your good words are sown into my heart, they are growing and bringing forth a good harvest in my life.
1 Corinthians 1:18 – “For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved, it is the power of God.”
Thank You Jesus. You are the mighty Word of God in the flesh! Your words contain the very power of God for me. God’s Word is my final authority.
Matthew 4:4 – “But He answered, ‘it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
I do not live by physical food alone, but by every Word that comes from Your lips. I esteem your Words like treasures in a field. The Words that You speak are spirit, and they are infusing Your LIFE into my mind and body.
Colossians 3:16 – “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…”
I keep my heart filled with Your words. I renew my mind every day with Your words going into my eyes and my ears, and coming out of my mouth.
Proverbs 30:5 – “Every Word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”
Jesus, You are the Word of God. You are the Way, the TRUTH, and the life. Thank You Holy Spirit for guiding me into all truth, which is setting me free from every way the enemy has used to hold me captive!
Proverbs 19:7 – “The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”
I thank You for Your Word. It is reviving and breathing life into my soul. Your Word is true. It is higher than any circumstance I am facing. I don’t go by what I see or feel. Your Word is working, whether I can see it or not. I walk by faith and not by sight.
Acts 20:32 – “And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
I am thankful for Your Word. It is building me up on my most holy faith and giving me the inheritance You have purchased for me.
Luke 1:37 – “For with God, nothing is ever impossible and no Word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”
All things are possible with You God! Every Word from You contains Your power and ability to bring it to pass.
