We are called to be strong in the Lord in the power of His strength. He has given us impenetrable armor so that we can stand up against every scheme of the enemy. We are to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ!” (Romans 13:14) As you pray this prayer, envision Jesus dressing you in His armor, equipping you for every battle!
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I stand strong in You and in the power of Your might. I put on the whole armor of God every day, and I am fully equipped for victory.
I fasten the Belt of Truth around my waist. Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, and Your Truth lights my path to freedom. Through Your Word, every lie of the enemy is exposed and rendered powerless against me.
I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, therefore I have the right to every spiritual blessing coming to pass in this earth’s realm. My heart is protected, my spirit is blameless, and no accusation can penetrate against me.
I put on the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace. I walk in divine peace and not war! Everywhere I go I carry Your presence. You order my steps, and no path of destruction can overtake me.
I lift up the Shield of Faith. It quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one—every thought, every fear, every attack of doubt, unbelief, and strife. Faith surrounds me like an impenetrable wall.
I place on my head the Helmet of Salvation. My mind is covered with the mind of Christ. I choose to think His thoughts. No confusion, no torment, no fear can lodge in me.
I take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. I speak it boldly, and it cuts down every work of darkness. My words are filled with power because they are filled with Scripture.
I pray in the Spirit at all times, alert and watchful, interceding for the saints. I am armed, dangerous to the enemy, and immovable in Christ.
I also lift up the Shield of Love, for Your Word says faith cannot work apart from love. Your love for me when extended to others cannot fail. Love disarms the enemy’s hatred, heals wounds, and keeps my heart tender yet unshakable. Love protects me and drives out every fear.
This armor is mine. I walk in it all day long. I will not take it off. I am covered, protected, and victorious!
