In these days of spiritual wickedness, pandemics, violent weather, and financial uncertainty, we as believers need the protection of Almighty God. Here are three prayers to build our faith for whatever the enemy hurls against us! Be wise and cover yourselves and your family daily in prayer. Links are included beneath each prayer for printed copies.
Prayer to Apply the Armor of God
Father God, I stand strong in You and in the power of Your Son. With Your help, Jesus, I put on the whole armor of God making me fully equipped for victory!
I fasten the Belt of Truth around my waist. Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Your Truth lights my path to freedom. Through Your Word, every lie of the enemy is exposed and rendered powerless against me.
I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, therefore I have the right to every spiritual blessing coming to pass in this earth’s realm. My heart is protected, my spirit is blameless, and no accusation can penetrate against me.
I put on the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace. I walk in divine peace and not war! Everywhere I go I carry Your presence. You order my steps, and no path of destruction can overtake me.
I lift up the Shield of Faith. It quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one—every thought, every fear, every attack of doubt, unbelief, and strife. The faith of God surrounds me like an impenetrable wall.
I place on my head the Helmet of Salvation. My mind is covered with the mind of Christ. I choose to think Your thoughts. No confusion, no torment, no fear can lodge in me.
I take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. I speak it boldly, and it cuts down every work of darkness. My words are filled with power because they are filled with Your words in Scripture.
I pray in the Spirit at all times, alert and watchful, interceding for the saints. I am armed, dangerous to the enemy and immovable in Christ.
I also lift up the Shield of Love, for Your Word says faith cannot work apart from love. Your love for me when extended to others cannot fail. Love disarms the enemy’s hatred, heals wounds, and keeps my heart tender yet unshakable. Love protects me and drives out every fear.
This armor is mine. I walk in it all day long. I will not take it off. I am covered, protected, and victorious! In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Plead the Blood of Jesus Prayer!
I plead your blood Jesus over every accusation coming against me and my family today. Let them be silenced in the courts of heaven! I ask that your blood pluck up every evil harvest in the works against me and my family.
I plead Your blood and claim a hedge of protection around myself, spouse, children, grandchildren, extended family, and loved ones throughout this day and night. I plead your blood over our righteous governments, our righteous militaries, our whistle blowers, our prophets, and over all their families. Cover our hearts, minds, and bodies. No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
I plead your blood, Lord Jesus over our sleep. I command the rest of God to come upon us. I forbid evil dreams, evil visions, evil imaginations, and evil visitations. satan (with a little “s”), you are bound from accessing our minds while we sleep.
I plead your blood over our homes, properties, dwelling places, pets, and possessions. No plague nor calamity shall come near us. Fear of God, come on any person who intends to steal from or harm us or our homes, properties, or dwelling places.
I plead Your blood over our vehicles and every vehicle, man, animal, weather, demon we come in contact with. I declare that the beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by You all the day long!
I plead your blood, Jesus over our jobs, our businesses and our finances. We owe no man nothing but to love!
Host of heaven, I take authority over all the power of the enemy. Watch over our coming in and our going out. No holdups, no breakdowns, no accidents, or attacks of any kind at any time. Deliver us from all evil. Bring about the preservation, protection, and provision in our lives.

Prayer for Protection – Psalm 91
Father, I thank You that I live in the secret place of the Most High. I am abiding right now under the shadow of the Almighty. You are my refuge. You are my fortress. You are my God, and I trust You completely.
No snare of the enemy can trap me. No deadly pestilence can touch me. I am covered with Your feathers, and under Your wings I am safe. Your Word is my shield, my buckler, and my defense.
I shall only look on with my eyes and see the reward of the wicked. Death and destruction is not for me as your child!
Fear has no place in me. I will not fear the terror by night. I will not fear the arrow by day. I will not fear sickness in the darkness or destruction at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand—it will not touch me.
No evil can befall me. No plague can come near my dwelling. Your angels are on assignment right now; they keep me in all my ways. They lift me up in their hands so that I do not even strike my foot against a stone.
I trample every work of the enemy under my feet. The lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent—I tread on them in Jesus’ name. I have set my love on You, and You deliver me. You set me on high because I know Your Name.
When I call, You answer. You are with me in trouble. You deliver me. You honor me. With long life You satisfy me and show me Your salvation. This is my present-tense reality because Your Word says so, and Your Word cannot fail.
I declare I am untouchable to the enemy. I live wrapped in divine protection, surrounded by covenant promises, and filled with Your peace. This is mine now—in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
