While spending time with the Father recently, I sensed His deep desire for us to grasp the depth of His love and good intentions for us. I heard Him say, “Stay close to Me, for the coming days will try to draw your gaze away from Me. When you cannot see Me for the waves, trust My WAYS; trust My heart!”
Below are verses that highlight God’s heart of love and desire to show us His goodness. Read the verses and affirmations slowly, thinking about each word in a spirit of gratitude. Jeremiah 29:11 – “‘For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'”
You have beautiful plans for my life, filled with peace, purpose, and hope. Even when I cannot see what You are doing, I know You are faithfully working on my behalf. I look to the future with joyful expectation because my life is held safely in Your hands.
Romans 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Everything in my life is being skillfully woven together for my good and for Your glory. No disappointment, delay, or difficulty is wasted in Your plan. I trust You, knowing You are working all things together far better than I can imagine!
Matthew 7:11 – “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
You are my loving Father who delights in giving good gifts to Your children. I come before You with confidence, asking in faith, and receiving every good thing You have prepared for me.
Psalm 27:13 – “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”
I choose faith over fear and hope over discouragement. Every day I expect to see Your goodness revealed in my life. My heart remains strong because I know You are faithful to fulfill every promise You have spoken.
Psalm 84:11 – “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
You are my light, my shield, and my generous provider. Your grace empowers me, and Your favor surrounds me each day. I trust that You faithfully supply every good thing I need at just the right time.
Luke 12:32 – “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
I refuse to live in fear because it brings You great joy to give me Your Kingdom. I gladly receive Your peace, wisdom, provision, strength, and abundant life. I live with confidence because I am deeply loved and cared for by my Heavenly Father.
Luke 15:31 – “Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.” I am never separated from You.
I am never separated from Your presence because You are always with me. I live in the confidence of Your unfailing love, knowing that every spiritual blessing and every promise in Christ belongs to me. I joyfully receive all You have provided as Your beloved child.
Nahum 1:7 – “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.”
You are my safe place, my stronghold, and my unfailing refuge in every season of life. When troubles arise, I run to You with complete confidence because Your goodness never changes. I rest securely in Your faithful care.
Psalm 107:8–9 – “Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.”
You satisfy every longing of my heart with Your never-ending love. You fill every empty place with Your presence, peace, and abundant blessings. My heart overflows with gratitude because You faithfully meet my deepest needs.
