Wherever You Are

Before I begin this devotional, I would like to share a testimony from a reader who has found great value in meditating while navigating a very difficult season in her life. This reader did not know the subject or wording of my devotional, but I think you will find her testimony is a perfect pairing to the devotional and God inspired.

“The tragic death of my husband has caused a Heaviness to overtake my mornings. Exhaustion is its companion. I have found that meditation brings Light and Refreshment to my burden of grief. Reading God’s Word aloud speaks Healing to my broken heart and Hope for my future that seems so unsure. When I can’t find the words to speak, reading a prepared meditation brings Comfort to my soul, Soothes the ache of sadness, and brings Light to a day that begins gray.”

In trying times when circumstances are standing like immovable walls before us, it can be hard to see the forest for the trees. This is why Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT), “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

This verse encourages us to keep our eyes looking beyond our struggle to the joy that is surely coming our way. When someone we know is going through deep waters, we are to stand with them in their future, believing for the joy that awaits them. Jesus endured the suffering of the cross by doing this very thing!

Hebrews 12:2 Passion Translation – “…His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Let the following words from the Father comfort you and bring you fresh hope for your new tomorrows…

Wherever you are right now, it is not your future.

You just wait. A new day is on the horizon!

Are you hurting?  I AM a very present help in this time of trouble.

Are you in mourning? Feel My compassion wiping away your tears.

Are you sick?  Healing is your portion at My table.

Are you afraid?  My peace is abounding towards you.

Are you addicted? See Me breaking every chain.

Fix your gaze onto My LIGHT!

Keep running into your future!

Journey into the DAWN of your new day, your new season!

“The splendor light of heaven’s glorious sunrise is about to break upon us in holy visitation, all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender. The Word from heaven will come to us with dazzling LIGHT to shine upon those who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow. And He will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.”    Luke 1:78-79 Passion Translation

Here’s a perfect song to remind you, wherever you are this day, God is in the process of turning your broken into beautiful~ ❤️

*****I am excited to announce that I am currently working on a book of prepared meditations! These will be computer generated meditations that I will be personalizing for you to read aloud on many different topics. Below is an example of the meditations you will see in the new book. I trust that you will find these to be an excellent source for renewing your mind on a daily basis. Let me know your thoughts!
